Michigan. Definitely either of the Ludwig drums. I really like both the Supraphonic and the Black Beauty pretty equally. Both are different, but with aspects in common. The Supraphonic is drier, where as the Black Beauty is a little more complex with a bit of "honk". Both are GREAT drums.

The only thing that that could rust on them would be the lug screws/washers, and hoops, not sure about the throw off and butt plate. WebOct 2, 2011 · Both. But for the first one, get the 14x6.5. It can be a little more flexible than the 5 because the 5 can't do a deep tone convincingly. The 6.5 covers the tuning ranges pretty well. The only thing you'd miss would some of the cracking power that the 5 will get you, but with the right setup the 6.5 can sound similar.
