WebYou can craft a fully upgraded Heroic item on 4-5 runs of the chain on HE and a fully upgraded Legendary item on 18-20 runs on LE. The blank items drop like candy, so that's not even an issue. Additionally, you don't have to fully upgrade an item all at once. You can get the first upgrade after ~2 runs of part 1 on HE, ~8 runs on LE.
